As of today Rick says Annabel is unresponsive and sleeping most of the day. She will open her eyes, but is not communicating. It may be 2~3 more days until she goes home to be with the Lord. Thank you for your prayers and support.

The joy of a Great Granddaughter:

 Monday's visit:

    Susan says:

Hi Sarah, we were with grandma about 2.5 hours I think!  She was really jazzed!
Steve and family were there too.  I spent some of the time watching the kids and
we threw the ground apples to the goat and the neighbor's horse.  It was only 90
in town.  Grandma was really doing well.

Week of: June 10th

Thursday Evening:

Susan says:

She was pretty good today.  She has a lady to give her a bath, massage, etc. We saw Jeff,
Grover, Catherine, Rick, Daniel, and Billy.  We took grandma some lunch and she ate some.  She's doing okay.  Dad and Rick are both pretty sad that she is so weak, but I am glad that she is not in pain.

                            --------------------

Wed. Evening:

Rick says:

Grandma seems about the same to me. She has good and bad times each day. Hospice nurse say it is too early for them to predict, but a few weeks to a few months seems reasonable.

                       -------------------------

Catherine says:

I'm sure Rick told you that your grandma is sleeping in the guest room with a very comfortable bed. W`e have a caregiver coming at nite to assist.  She made eggs and pancakes today.  But, Grandma wasn't hungry.  She is not eating a lot.  She has lost quite a bit of weight.  She looks great though.   Very tired.
